Accused Gang Member will be in Court

BRADFORD – A Franklinville teenager and alleged member of the New York City ‘Bloods’ street gang, will face drug charges in a McKean County court.

Bradford City police discovered a bag containing white powder in the 17-year-old male’s car during a traffic stop last May 15. During their investigation, police were notified that the young man was a known member of the ‘Bloods’ street gang.

Police later discovered a gun clip, cocaine and diazepam in the juvenile’s vehicle.

Charges of use or possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license were bound over from court yesterday in District Judge Dominic Cercone’s courtroom.

The juvenile is currently free on $5,000 unsecured bail.
