Legislation to bring Pennsylvania out of the post-Prohibition era by finally moving the sale of wine and liquor into private hands has been introduced in Harrisburg. Sponsor of the legislation, House Majority Leader Mike Turzai (R-Allegheny County) said lawmakers are looking to improve choices for Pennsylvania consumers and make sure state government sticks to the functions it performs best.
