Austin Woman Accused of Stealing Cell Phone
1 min readSWEDEN VALLEY – Police have charged an Austin woman with theft and receiving stolen property, after she allegedly took a cell phone and did not return it.
Police say 20-year-old Victoria Elwood placed calls from a cell phone belonging to 51-year-old Stephanie Dubots, of Port Allegany, and then took the phone to her residence, failing to return it to Dubots.
Elwood faces charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
An investigation continues.
