Late Breaking News for Coudersport and Northcentral PA

Bernard H. LaBar, 79, of Coudersport, PA, died Thursday, April 5, 2012
in the Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA.  Born June 21, 1932,
in Westfield, PA, he was the son of LaVerne and Eva Weeks LaBar.  On
January 23, 1953, in Wellsville, NY, he married the former Agnes L.
Greenman, who predeceased him on December 27, 2011.  He was employed
by Cole Memorial Hospital and Quikfill in Coudersport.  Bernard was a
member of the First Seventh Day Baptist Church of Hebron.  Surviving
are:  a son, Roger (Tammy) LaBar of Coudersport;  five grandchildren;
seven great-grandchildren;  two sisters, Helen Seeley of Galeton, PA
and Edith White of Westfield;  and nieces and nephews.  In addition to
his wife, he was predeceased by three brothers, Fred, Laverne Jr., and
Don.  The family will receive friends privately at the Olney Funeral
Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Saturday, April 7, 2012 from
10:00 – 11:00 AM.  A fellowship time will follow at the Coudersport
Fire Hall at 12:00 Noon.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to
Coudersport Ambulance Association or the Coudersport Volunteer Fire
Company, Coudersport, PA 16915.  Online condolences may be expressed
