Blood Drive at Austin Area School May 13

AUSTIN, PA – Friday, May 13th, the Community Blood Bank of NW PA is teaming up with Austin School District to inspire young (& older!) adults to donate blood and to continue to donate throughout their lives.

“Blood donation is a kind and wonderful way to give back to your community, plus one small pint can save up to three lives. The Community Blood Bank only draws blood from areas where we are partnered with the local hospital; in this case, Charles Cole Memorial. Your blood donation STAYS LOCAL.” says, mobile drive coordinator, Lora Cope.”
Attendees who meet eligibly requirements and are screened to donate blood at a Community Blood Bank mobile blood drives from May 13th – July 15th will be entered in a drawing to win 2 tickets to see Brad Paisley at Darien Lake on July 23rd, plus a $50 gas card. This promotion comes during as the Community Blood Bank prepares for the possibility of blood shortages heading into the summer months.

Potter County Community Blood Drives
• Wednesday, May 18th – Galeton Community at Galeton High School, 1:30 – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday, June 1st – Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Main Conf. Room, 10 AM – 4 PM
