Bradford Home Destroyed in Explosion

An explosion destroyed a Bradford Township home Monday morning. Bradford Township firefighters say the home on Helen Avenue, owned by Tom Federspiel, exploded around 7:20 yesterday morning. Federspiel, who was outside when the explosion rocked his home, was able to rescue his two dogs. All three are okay and were treated for minor injuries. The State Police fire marshall and Department of Environmental Protection have been called into investigate the explosion and fire. Damage is estimated at $250,000 dollars.
