BREAKING: Police Searching for Potter County Jail Escapee

COUDERSPORT – State Police in Coudersport say they are assisting Coudersport Boro Police in the search for 18-year-old Andrew Schuyler Jeffers, age 18, who escaped from the Potter County Jail this afternoon.

Police say Jeffers was last spotted wearing a yellow prison uniform and heading north through the woods near the Coudersport Consistory.

He is described as a white male, approx. 5’ 7″ tall, 140 lbs.  Black hair, brown eyes, with a light brown beard.  Escaped wearing yellow Potter County Jail uniform.

Anyone spotting Jeffers should call police or 911 immediately.

Jeffers was arrested in April of this year on multiple charges of theft.
