Chamber of Commerce Announces Scarecrow Contest

The Coudersport Area Chamber of Commerce has announced a lamppost scarecrow contest which will begin September 19.

Those interested in entering the contest may decorate a lamppost on Main Street or at the Courthouse Square.

A number corresponding to a specific lamppost will be assigned to participants upon registration.

The contest will include local gift certificates for winners.

Scarecrows will need to be taken down by November 5.
