Child Suffers Minor Injury in Rt. 44 Crash

HEBRON TWP. – A 6-year-old girl suffered minor injury after the SUV she was riding in crashed into a guardrail along Route 44 on Monday, January 2.

Police say 28-year-old Jannine A. Naal, of Coudersport, was driving south when she lost control of her 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe on the snow-covered roadway and struck the guardrail.

Police said the child suffered a minor injury to her forehead, but did not require transport to the hospital.

Naal, and four other children in the vehicle, were all uninjured.

Police said the SUV, which suffered moderate damage in the crash, was towed from the scene by Kightlinger Motors of Coudersport.

Naal will be cited for (not) driving vehicle at safe speed.
