‘Citizens of Tomorrow’ Recognized

Each week, the Coudersport Rotary Club hosts two or more local students at the Club’s regular meeting in acknowledge of that students accomplishments and future pursuits and to introduce them to the Club’s philosophy of “Service Above Self”.  Last weeks “Citizens of Tomorrow” included Heather Supplee, Jennifer Kane and Rachel Morris.

RACHEL MORRIS – Upcoming ROTARY FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENT – Rachel Morris is a Senior at the Coudersport Jr/Sr High School who plans on attending PSU Behrend where she will major in Behavioral Health.  This summer, Rachel will participate in the Rotary Foreign Exchange program as a exchange student to Austria.  She has 3 years experience in the Mock Trial, as well as Model UN and has participated in the school musicals for 5 years.  She has been a member of the school’s marching band for 6 years and is a National Honor Society student.  Rachel is the daughter of David and Beverly Morris of Coudersport.

JENNIFER KANE – Jennifer Kane is a Junior at the Coudersport Jr/Sr High School who plans on obtaining a degree in sports medicine in the future. She has played basketball in the Coudersport School District for 5 years, soccer for 3 years and is currently in her 1st year of track.  Jennifer is also a member of the National Honor Society and Girl Scouts of America.  She is the daughter of Gerry and Missy Kane of Coudersport.

HEATHER SUPPLEE – Heather Supplee is a Junior with honors in History and American Literature and a member of the marching band and high school cross country and track teams.  She enjoys horseback riding and is currently serving as 4-H Secretary.  Heather has recently been selected to represent the Coudersport Rotary Club at the Rotary Youth Leadership Camp (RYLA) to be held at Juniata College this June.  She is the daughter of Eugene and Susan Supplee of Coudersport.
