COUDERSPORT – A Coudersport teenager escaped injury after a crash along Route 6 near the Allegany Campground on February 19.

Police say 19-year-old Corry W. Gaberseck was traveling east when his GMC Sierra left the southbound berm of the roadway and struck a utility pole with the passenger’s bed side. The SUV then continued in an easterly direction, striking a sign owned by Allegany Campground, before going airborne and striking another utility pole head-on, shearing the pole off. Gaberseck’s SUV then continued in an easterly direction, before coming to a final rest on the southern berm, facing northeast.

Police said a 17-year-old male passenger in the vehicle at the time of the crash was also uninjured.
