Counties Asked To Provide Photos Of Vietnam Vets On Wall

From Potter County Today

vietnamCongress has authorized construction of an underground educational center adjacent to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.  At this week’s County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania summer conference in Somerset County, CCAP member counties signed onto a pledge to support the center. As part of the commitment, commissioners in all 67 counties will be seeking photographs of Vietnam War casualties whose names are listed on the wall. Anyone with photographs of the Potter County men who are memorialized on the wall is asked to contact Commissioner Paul Heimel at County officials also passed a resolution pledging to support the educational center by contacting members of Congress.
