Couple Pleads No Contest to Child Abuse Charges
COUDERSPORT – A Coudersport husband and wife have pleaded no contest to felony child abuse charges.
Norman Buchanan, Sr., age 67, and his wife, Dorothy Buchanan, age 52, both pleaded no contest to one count of third-degree felony endangering the welfare of a child.
Buchanan and his wife were both charged with numerous offenses, including aggravated assault and indecent assault, after allegations of ongoing abuse between 2003 and 2007 were made.
A sentencing timeline was not available at the time of this posting.
