Early Morning Fire at St. James Hotel in Cuba, NY

A fully involved structure fire at the St. James Hotel in Cuba, NY, early this morning, resulted in multiple fire departments throughout the area being dispatched.

Fast Team One, Clarksville, New Hudson, Wellsville, Cuba, and Friendship fire departments were originally dispatched to the fire.

Fire police shutdown a portion of Main Street at the intersection of Route 20.

Masked men were also called from various departments.

Later, fire departments and ambulance services from Allegany, Westons Mills, Coudersport, Roulette and Shinglehouse among others were dispatched for mutual assistance. Some of those departments were later recalled.

Details surrounding the fire are still sketchy. Check back later for an update.

    I will miss my toking location. It’s shameful that a man would lose his way in the weeds to find himself surrounded by flames. Never go fishing while when youve already been fishing is loose.
