Potter County Farmers Market is today (Friday, Aug. 31) on the courthouse square in Coudersport from 2-6 pm. Offerings include locally grown vegetables and fruits, along with specialty products. Market organizers report that today’s featured items are as follows:
–Fitzgerald’s Family Farm: Cucumbers, herbs, cantaloupes, cabbage, celery in addition to maple products, preserves and jams and hand-painted maple sap buckets and lids.
–Miles Farm Produce: Onions, tomatoes, squash, leeks, pie pumpkins, cucumbers, beets.
–Card Creek Trading Post: Fresh brown eggs, white artisan bread, deli rye bread with caraway seeds, biscotti selections, scones, brownie delight, vine-ripened sliced tomatoes with fresh mozzarella and chopped fresh basil, and organic edamame (fresh soybeans in the shell) from Metzger Heritage Farm.
–Wooley Lot Farm: Heirloom zucchini, garlic bulbs, shallots, fingerling potatoes, delicata winter squash, wax beans and alpaca yarn.
