* HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS BETWEEN 1.5 AND 2.5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED OVER THE NEXT 48 HOURS. LOCALIZED HIGHER AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF 3 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE IN THE LOWER SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY. THE HEAVY RAIN FALLING ONTO VERY WET SOILS WILL COMBINE WITH MELTING SNOW TO LIKELY RESULT IN FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS. SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS MAY ALSO RISE OUT OF THEIR BANKS.

* FLOODING POTENTIAL ALONG LARGER RIVERS AND STREAMS WILL NEED TO BE MONITORED CLOSELY
