Healthy Streams Leads to a Healthy Life

The McKean County Conservation District delivered a conservation message to students participating in the Footsteps Adventure Camp at Callahan Park in Bradford.

Heather McKean, Watershed Conservationist, Sherry Dumire, Resource Conservationist and Intern Lindsay Shine demonstrated the negative impacts nonpoint and point source pollution has on the quality of our life, as well as linking the importance of a healthy stream to a healthy life by introducing attendees to their watershed and our aquatic resources through hands-on stations.
