Jean C. Olskey, 91, a former longtime resident of Hog Brook Road, passed away on Tuesday (March 20, 2012) at the Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital in Bath. She was born June 16, 1920 in Kane, Pa., the daughter of Donald W. and Theodosia M. (Clawges) Crisjohn. On Aug. 22, 1969, at the Allentown United Methodist Church, she married Kenneth Olskey, who predeceased her on March 8, 1994.

Jean graduated from the Allentown High School in 1938 and earned a business degree one year later. She was employed at Worthington Corporation in Wellsville for 40 years as Supervisor of Employee Benefits. She was a member of the Allentown United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She has resided at the Fred and Harriett Taylor Health Center for the past eight years.
She is survived by a stepson, Robert (Myrna) Olskey, and a stepdaughter, Sandra (Tommy) Green, both of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews, including Dawn Burch, Linda (Bill) Freitas, James Crisjohn, Robert (Sharon) Crisjohn, Susan (Robert) Stern, Robert Howe and Marsha (David) Lineman; as well as 15 great- and 11 great-great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, June Howe, and a brother, D. Warren Crisjohn.
Friends are invited to call on Saturday (March 24, 2012) from 2-4 p.m. at the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home Inc., 34 W. State St. in Wellsville. The funeral will follow visitation at 4 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Diane Cox presiding. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
