Johnson in Custody as Suspect in Game Commission Officer’s Shooting

27-year-old Christopher Johnson is in police custody following the shooting death of 31-year-old David Grove last night.

Johnson was arrested this morning at a hunting cabin.

According to the Associated Press, Grove pulled over Johnson and a passenger last evening before a shootout ensued. Grove was able to call in Johnson’s license plate number before he died. Johnson had also suffered a gunshot wound.

Police have not released further details, but say they are not looking for anyone else.
