The cases against two suspended city police officers have been in the court system for nearly four years and now will proceed separately after visiting Potter County Senior Judge John B. Leete granted a motion to sever them in Lycoming County Court.

Thomas H. Ungard Jr. and Dustin J. Kreitz face numerous charges of tampering with public records, criminal conspiracy, failure to make the required disposition of funds and conflict of interest after they allegedly used their positions on the Lycoming County Drug Task Force to falsify the purchase of confiscated vehicles, illegally obtain drug task force money and take property for personal gain.

  1. It’s about time Mr. Ungard has his just rewards for all the illegal activities he has gotten away with under the protection of his badge. If the full extent of all he’s been involved in came to light he’d be in jail for a very, very, long time!!!!
