Pedestrian Struck in Tioga County
Investigator Gregory Moore of the Mansfield PSP reports that 4-24-12 at 2200 hours he investigated a crash which occurred on State Hwy 2017 607 feet east of Gulick Street in Hamilton Township, Tioga County. The crash occurred as a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Janet Fitch, 39, of Canton, PA was travelling north on SR 2017 when the passenger side mirror struck Theresa Muszynski, 50, of Morris Run, PA, who was a pedestrian standing along the fog line of the northbound lane. The pedestrian was wearing dark clothing. She was flown to Geisinger Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. Fitch was charged with VC3543 Pedestrians Crossing Other Than C.
