Update: Racial Slur Prompted North Woods Fight in Coudersport
Elmira man charged with aggravated assault after pulling rifle on crowd
COUDERSPORT – State Police have released details in the altercation that occurred outside the North Woods Tavern early Sunday morning.
According to police the large fight began after Ronald E. Moore, 29, of Port Allegany, made a derogatory racial comment towards Guy F. Eastwood, 28, of Elmira, NY.
Eastwood then confronted Moore, at which point a physical confrontation ensued between Moore and Eastwood. During the confrontation, Moore’s wife, Crystal ‘Buddha’ Moore, 25, of Port Allegany, struck Angela M. Goldberg, 32, of Aliquippa, in the face.
While Moore and Eastwood were fighting, a friend of Eastwood’s, Jamel A. Lawson, 33, of Elmira, NY, entered the physical altercation in an attempt to aid Eastwood, at which point a large crowd began to form, becoming enraged with both Lawson and Eastwood.
At this point Lawson pulled a rifle from his vehicle and pointed it at the crowd.
George E. Stuckey, 21, of Roulette, attempted to take the rifle from Lawson, at which point Lawson struck Stuckey in the face with the rifle.
Lawson and Eastwood then fled the scene in Goldberg’s vehicle. However, prior to leaving the North Woods parking lot, Jeremy F. Tucker, 24, of Turtle Point, slashed one of the tires on the vehicle they were driving.

Rondald Moore – Simple Assault, Harassment, Disorderly Conduct
Guy Eastwood – Simple Assault, Harassment, Disorderly Conduct
Crystal Moore – Harassment and Disorderly Conduct
Jeremy Tucker – Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct
