McKean County Bridge Job on Route 2002 Will Feature Temporary Signals

1 min read

Clearfield – Area drivers will encounter temporary signals as rehabilitation work gets underway July 5 on the Potato Creek Bridge on Route 2002 in McKean County. The bridge is located near the village of Betula in Norwich Township. The temporary signals will enforce an alternating traffic pattern as crews perform rehabilitation work on the bridge. Concrete barrier will be in place through the work zone. The lane closure will remain in effect until work is completed in October.

Work includes rehab of abutments and piers, new bridge beams and concrete deck, and new barriers and guide rail. This work is part of a $2.3 million rehabilitation project for the repair of five bridges in Cameron, Clearfield, McKean and Potter counties. The contractor for all five bridges is Swank Associated Companies, Inc. of New Kensington, PA.
