Update: Medic 6 was dispatched for a patient with a possible heroin overdose in Galeton.
Police have secured the scene and medics are now responding.
galeton is a drug town. a bunch of low lifes that dont do **** but drugs. do something with your life and stop being a peice of ****
Excuse me???? There are a lot of hard working people in Galeton. A lot of people in this town don’t do drugs. I think you need to shut your mouth! I would like to know what you do with your life when you can’t even spell “piece”. You need to get a life!
I would like to know why the Admin. would let someone post something that has nothing to do with the post, and is completely degrading to all the citizens of Galeton.

First, I trash between 20 and 30 comments a day. Another 100+ are automatically trashed by Akismet, as they are spam.
Second, this comment was approved as it does not technically violate our commenting policy.
Our commenting policy in a nutshell is; you may comment anonymously, however if your comment negatively targets a specific individual or organization, you must leave your name.
As you can see, this comment does not specifically target any one individual or organization.
While I personally agree that the comment is negative, unproductive and hardly relative to the post, I must adhere to our policy for consistency purposes.
Please understand that I, unlike other ‘blogs’, do not moderate comments based upon my personal opinion and bias. In fact, if you browse this site enough, you’re sure to find many comments that negatively target myself.
There is another local ‘blog’, that you may or may not be familiar with, that allows anyone to post anonymous comments specifically targeted at people, businesses and other entities, that would make this comment look like a sermon.
I can certainly understand any animosity or anger that this comment caused. However, please allow me to make a suggestion;
Rather than simply respond with aggression towards whoever this poster is, list some positive attributes about Galeton. If you feel this person is incorrect in their statement, not only tell them so, but prove to them why.
