Michael J. Callahan, 56 , of 2945 Cameron Rd., Emporium died at his residence, Sunday (January 16, 2011) afternoon.

He was born March 13, 1954 in St. Marys a son of the late Joseph “Jim” Callahan and Esther Rosette Callahan Powell.

Mr. Callahan graduated from Cameron County High School in the class of 1972. He was a member of the Cameron County Amateur Radio Club. He was a avid HAM radio operator and volunteered with radio communications for the Cameron County Emergency Management Agency for several years. He was a member of the Pipleliners Union #798.

Parents: Joseph “Jim” Callahan and Esther Rosette Callahan Powell
There will be No Visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service will be held at the Barnett Funeral Home on Wednesday (January 19, 2011) at 7:00 PM with Rev. Rock Pifer, Pastor, Free Metholist Church, officiating.
