National Hip Hop Artist to Perform Locally

BRADFORD – On Sunday, national recording artist Playdough will be performing at Open Arms Community Church in Bradford.

The Dallas, TX based rapper will perform following local artist Ariel Campbell, local reggae band Irie, and Oil City hip hop performer Lie Detector. The concert starts at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday and has a $6.00 cover-charge.

“We’re really excited to bring in an act of this caliber to the stage at Open Arms,” says Media Coordinator Josh Hatcher, “and we’re always excited about working with local musicians and fostering the arts in our community.”

Playdough has worked with some large names in the music industry, including The Black Keys, P.O.D., Mos Def, Erykah Badu, and Linkin Park.

Playdough has released two full-length albums with worldwide distribution (EMI, Sony) and also an EP in Australia, which have all received critical acclaim, and has been featured on MTV. His website is http://www.iamplaydough.com.
