Fatal Accident in Wellsville Yesterday Claimed Life of 11-Year-Old Girl

Deceased is Cheyenne E. Wolfer, 11, of Rushford.
The New York State Police investigated a three car fatal motor vehicle accident which occurred at 2:55 PM on Rt-417 in the Town of Wellsville.
Investigation revealed west bound traffic had stopped for an uninvolved school bus which was discharging passengers. A 2007 Dodge pick up truck operated by Robin Drouin, age 54, of Wellsville, New York drove into the rear of a stopped 1999 Dodge Van operated by Julie Wolfer age 44, of Rushford, New York forcing Wolfer’s vehicle into the rear of a 1997 Dodge van operated by Raymond Cichy, age 60, of Hornell, New York.
Eleven year old Cheyenne E. Wolfer who was seated in the rear most seat of the Wolfer vehicle was transported to Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville, New York where she was pronounced deceased. Julie Wolfer and the other three occupants of her vehicle along with Robin Drouin and her passenger were all transported to Jones Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Drouin was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and released to appear in Wellsville Town Court on November 24, 2010 at 10:00 AM.
DON’T UNDERSTAND LETTING MAN GO AFTER KILLING SOMEONE WHEN HE WAS TESTED POSITIVE FOR DRUGS,THEY PUT PEOPLE IN JAIL FOR LESS.
How is this person not charged with vehicular manslaughter is beyond me!!Our justice system makes,me want to vomit!!This person needs to rot in a,prison for 15 years!!
