Austin Man Arrested at Barracks for Possession of Prohibited Weapon
1 min readSWEDEN TWP. – An Austin man will be charged with possession of a prohibitive weapon, after he allegedly entered the State Police Barracks in Coudersport with the weapon.
Police say the incident happened on July 6 at 3:35 pm, when 18-year-old Charles R. Goff arrived at the station with a Wesson knife, which opened to a fully locked position via the push of a button that was spring assisted.
Police say they advised Goff this type of weapon is illegal in Pennsylvania.
Charges will be filed in District Court 55-3-01.
