ST. MARYS — Accused killer Edward B. Kralik Jr. was released from Hamot Medical Center in Erie on Tuesday, transported to St. Marys and arraigned on murder charges — all while still wearing his hospital gown and matching pants.
Kralik, 67, of 144 Pear Road — formerly known as 141 Robin Road, Lot 12 — St. Marys, is charged with criminal homicide; aggravated assault with extreme indifference to human life, a first-degree felony; aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony; and possession of an instrument of crime, a first-degree misdemeanor.
He is accused of killing Clayton Lecker on Saturday at a garage on Robin Road.
When Kralik was taken to Wilhelm’s office for arraignment Tuesday, Kralik said, “This was an accident and I will prove it.” He said he wanted to plead not guilty.
