NY Police Searching for Truck with PA Plates after Shots Fired in High Speed Chase
1 min readHORNELL, N.Y. – State Police in New York are on the hunt for a caucasian man and woman, believed to be driving a 1997 or newer gray Ford F-150 pickup truck bearing PA registration, after a chase early this morning which was called off by police after shots were fired.
According to the Hornell Evening Tribune, Trooper Mark O’Donnell of the NY State Police attempted to stop a pickup truck for speeding around 3 a.m. on Doorley Road near the town of Hornellsville.
Police say the truck sped up, leading to a chase in which the driver allegedly collided with a police car and fired several shots at officers.
Troopers say the unidentified suspects were armed with a shotgun, and fired several shots at officers, striking their cruiser but not causing any injuries.
The truck is believed to have damage on one side from colliding with troopers.
