gaswellforest A seminar to be presented on the internet at 1 pm today (Thursday, Sept. 15) will examine legal issues associated with Marcellus Shale natural-gas development in Pennsylvania. Wells and pads, pipelines and other developments have created legal dilemmas for residents and municipalities. Pifer also intends to discuss regulations from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, river basin commissions, the PUC and DEP.

http://extension.psu.edu/naturalgas/webinars . Those planning to participate are advised that the registration process can take several minutes.
