PA Lottery System Down

Looking for a lottery ticket today? You may be out of luck.
Lotter officials say the state-wide computer system that validates winning tickets has been down since 6 am this morning.
The lottery and it’s vendor, Scientific Games, are working to resolve the situation, but there is no estimate to how long it will take to get the network back up and functioning correctly.
Officials say the Daily Number, Big 3, Quinto, and Treasure Hunt midday drawings will still be held, and that any winning tickets previously purchased will still be honored once the system is back online.
“We apologize for any inconvenience to our players and retailers, and we thank them for their patience int his matter,” said Lottery Executive Director Ed Trees.
Update: At about 11:40 am today the lottery network is back up and running.
The lottery was down last night when I tried to play for today, that was at 8pm. Got up early took a walk at 6am it was still down.

It’s 5:55pm on Monday November the 7th 2022. The lottery website is still down. I am able to slowly login I was able to deposit money to my account but I am unable to play any of the online games or purchase and draw games such as powerball hopefully this is fixed before tonight’s drawing so I have a chance to play my numbers.
