Passing of Harold G. Lingenfelter, 83, of Emporium

Harold G. Lingenfelter, 83, of 1981 Sizerville Rd., Emporium died unexpectedly at Elk Regional Health Center, St. Marys on Sunday (February 12, 2012) afternoon.

He was born June 27, 1928 in Torrance, PA a son of the late Edward and Maude Logue Lingenfelter.
On November 13, 1948 in Marion Center, PA he married Elsie Fillhart Lingenfelter, who survives.
Mr. Lingenfelter retired from Sylvania where he worked for over 35 years. He loved gardening and fishing & hunting especially in Sinnamahoning. He was a member of the Bucktail Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed the Liars Club Coffee Hour at the Buttonwood each morning.

Son: Mark Lingenfelter and his wife Amie, Emporium

Son: Philip Lingenfelter and his wife Donna, Kane
Daughter: Dawn Lingenfelter, Indiana, PA
5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren
Preceded in Death By:
Parents: Edward and Maude Logue Lingenfelter
Daughter: Ronda in infancy
4 Sisters: May Reefer, Verba Miller, Jean Thomas and Kay Fulton
Visitation with Tribute Video will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 -4:00 PM, followed by the Funeral & Committal Services at 4 PM with Rev. Gary Atkinson, Pastor, First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Gilmore Cemetery, Austin.
