Passing of Leo J. Graves, 66, of Ulysses

Leo J. GRAVES, 66, of Ulysses, PA, died Monday, August 13, 2012 in his home.

Born August 5, 1946, in Genesee, PA, he was the son of Myron T. and Lillian Hulse Graves.  On December 2, 1972, in Ulysses, he married the former Sherrill D. “Sheri” Watkins, who survives.  He was employed by Pure Carbon (Morgan AM&T) in Coudersport for 30 years.

Surviving besides his wife, Sheri, are:  two sons, Shane (Theresa) Graves of North Bingham, PA and Clifford Scott Graves of Lockport, NY;  two granddaughters, Presley and Sophia;  five brothers, Charles (Charlotte) Sutton of Oswayo, PA, Byron (Marie) Sutton of Eldred, PA, Lowell (Bonnie) Graves of Genesee, PA, Lynn (Judy) Graves of Covington, PA, and Leon (Debbie) Graves of Middlebury Center, PA;  five sisters, Dorothy (Dick) Nelson of Wellsville, NY, Maude (James) Goodenough of Gold PA, Linda (Roy) Thomison of Blossburg, PA, Louise Payne of Emporium, PA, and Lucille Copp of Emporium, PA;  and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents.  Friends may call Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM.  The Rev. Jason K. Reed will officiate.  Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ulysses Library, P.O. Box 316, Ulysses, PA 16948.
