Pittsburgh to Host ‘Ground the Jets’ Rally Friday

PITTSBURGH — Allegheny County and the city of Pittsburgh will host a Ground the Jets Rally on Friday in honor of the Steelers AFC title game against the New York Jets.

The event will start at noon around the Terrible Tree in the courtyard of the Allegheny County Courthouse along Grant Street downtown.

“Fans turned out in force for last week’s rally, and the Steelers went on to beat the Ravens and ruin their season,” said Allegheny County Chief Executive Dan Onorato.

“It’s time to the pack the courtyard again this Friday and rally the Steelers to ground the Jets and move on to the Super Bowl.”
