Port Allegany Man DUI after Police find Syringe in Car

ROULETTE TWP. – A Port Allegany man was arrested and charged with various crimes following a traffic stop on Fishing Creek Road in Roulette Township, Thursday evening.

State Police say they stopped 21-year-old Mark Chelgreen after witnessing him driving on a DUI suspended license. During the traffic stop police observed a hypodermic needle in Chelgreen’s possession.

Police say they determined Chelgreen was driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

As a result he faces charges of DUI, Drug Paraphernalia and related summary offenses in District Judge Barbara Easton’s courtroom.
