Presentation on Marcellus Gas Development’s Effect on Housing in PA, June 26

The Natural Gas Resource Center will be hosting a public presentation titled “Marcellus Natural Gas Development’s Effect on Housing in Pennsylvania.”

This presentation will be held on June 26, 2012 from 7:00 – 8:00 PM at the Gunzburger Building in Coudersport Pennsylvania.

Featured speakers for this session are Dr. Kolb and Dr. Williamson from the Center for the Study of Community and the Economy at Lycoming College.

Dr. Kolb and Dr. Williamson recently released the findings of their study “Marcellus Natural Gas Development’s Effect on Housing in Pennsylvania.” This study was conducted through support from the Center for the Study of Community and the Economy at Lycoming College and the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency.

A number of local content experts including John Wright, Potter County Housing Authority; James Kockler, Potter County Human Services; and Bill Hunter, Trails End Realty, will also be presenting on impacts on the local housing market and what steps are being taken locally to reduce the potential housing impact in Potter County.
