PSP to Target Drunk Drivers in McKean County Throughout June

Pennsylvania State Police will be conducting sobriety checkpoints throughout McKean County in the month of June as part of a Checkpoint Strike Force Initiative. The Checkpoint Strike Force Initiative is a multi-state campaign dedicated to reducing DUI instances and casualties. Alcohol kills six times more young people in America than all illicit drugs combined. Alcohol gives a false illusion of security, and many drunk drivers are unaware of their actual impairment. If you drink, please don’t drive.

Highways and roadways with a high DUI incidence rate will be targeted.

If you plan to drive drunk, DON’T DO IT, and even if you don’t plan on driving drunk, but are planning on drinking, please make plans ahead of time for transportation. Please help keep our roads safe.
