Public Invited To Sunday Afternoon Event At Coudersport Public Library

Our forebears recognized that a library was an essential community resource when they founded the Coudersport Public Library more than 150 years ago. There’s no doubt that our library is vibrant community resource utilized by a cross section of area residents. There’s also no doubt that the Coudersport Public Library continues to be challenged by a building that is unable to meet the needs of library patrons today.

The Library Trustees have embarked on a plan to build a new library – a plan that will need the support of many individuals, businesses and organizations from the Coudersport area to make the vision of a new library a reality.

We invite you to learn more about our plans at Building Fund Kick-Off and Ice Cream Social on Sunday, October 3 beginning at 4:00 p.m. (at the conclusion of the Falling Leaves 5K Race). You will have the opportunity to share your suggestions for the library, learn more about the building project and how you can support the effort. We’ll be serving ice cream and cookies and our friends from Jakob’s Hollow have volunteered to serenade us and create a fun and festive atmosphere!

We appreciate your support of the Coudersport Public Library and look forward to seeing you.
