Ralph E. Barger, 69, of 81 Fairview Heights Bradford, passed away Friday, December 24th, 2010 at his residence.

Born September 23, 1941, in Limestone he was a son of the late Frank C. and Virginia (Fox) Barger Sr. He was a 1961 graduate of Limestone High School.

On November 17, 1962 in Limestone he married Twila J. (Newhouse) Barger who survives.

He was employed at AirCo Speer from 1962 to 1977 then W.R. Case Cutlery from 1977 to 1983. Prior to his retirement he worked at Graham Packaging until 2005.

Mr. Barger loved spending time with his family, camping, hunting and fishing.

Surviving in addition to his wife Twila, are three daughters: Julie (Scott) Gorrell of Cyclone, Marjorie (David) Schoonover and Donna (Dan) Green, two sons: Ralph (Amy) Barger, and Kenneth Barger all of Bradford, two brothers: Richard (the late Soozie) Barger, and David (Jeanne) Barger, one sister in law Dora Barger all of Limestone, 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Frank Barger.

Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday December 28, from 7-9pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. South Ave. where funeral and committal services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 29th, with the Rev. Patrick Melfi, pastor of St. Patrick Church in Limestone officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
