Reduced-Price Rabies Shots Saturday In Austin

Reduced-price rabies shots will be available for dogs, cats and ferrets on Saturday (July 10) from 1-4 pm at the Austin firehall. Animals 12 weeks and older will be vaccinated for $5.00 per shot. PotterCounty 4-H is assisting veterinarian Dr. Ronnie Schenkein in administering the shots.
The first time an animal is vaccinated, it is good for one year. Each time after that, the vaccination is good for three years. All animals must be on a leash or in a container.
