Ronald G. Adams, 54, of North Street, Westfield, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 at home.

He was employed as a dog warden for the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, and also served asĀ  police chief in Westfield Borough and a police officer for Cambria County and Galeton Police Department, worked with several fire departments, and served as a Pennsylvania state fire instructor.

Survivors include his wife, Sue; three sons, Ronald G. Adams Jr. and Michael Adams, both of Northern Cambria, and Andrew Adams of Elkland; and a daughter, Bridget Reed of Knoxville.

Calling hours are 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Kenyon Funeral Home, 222 W. Main St.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Westfield United Methodist Church, the Revs. Harold Kiel and Duane Burdick officiating.
