Roulette Man Arrested after Attempting to Pull Shotgun on Police

74-year-old man suffers injury after police subdue him

ROULETTE – A Roulette man was arrested on charges of terroristic threats after he allegedly tried to grab a shotgun while State Police were at his home.

Police say they responded to a Creekside Drive residence on June 4 for reports of a domestic disturbance. After they arrived on the scene, 74-year-old Nick J. Mascino is accused of making several threatening statements towards a 46-year-old woman. Police say Mascino then became enraged and attempted to access a gun cabinet to retrieve a shotgun. Police say they restrained Mascino, arrested him and then took him to CCMH by ambulance for treatment of injuries.

Mascino has been charged with Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault and Harassment in District Court 55-4-01.

Police are investigating a separate incident involving Mascino, in which two men allegedly entered his home and struck him with a baseball bat several times.
