Man accused of entering woman’s home, hitting her with a board and raping her
ROULETTE – State Police in Coudersport have charged a Roulette man with rape as the result of a forensics investigation.
Blaise Alackness, age 37, was arrested today on charges of Rape, Inv. Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Indecent Assault, Simple Assault and 2 counts of Aggravated Assault.
Police allege Alackness entered the home of a known female on October 16, 2011, and then raped the woman after hitting her in the head and face with a wooden board while she slept. Police say an extensive investigation by forensic services revealed Alackness had left trace evidence at the scene and was involved in the rape.
Alackness was arraigned in front of District Judge Stubbs and sent to the Potter County jail in lieu of $50,000 straight bail.
