Serious Crash on Route 49

At 2:22 pm this afternoon Nelson and Osceola fire departments along with state police and Medic 1 were dispatched to a crash on Route 49 in Nelson Township, east of Elkland.

Soon after a Life-Net medicopter was called to the scene.

Initial reports indicate severe injuries and a possible fatality.
