Man gets prison, $15,000 fine for growing pot

SHINGLEHOUSE – A Shinglehouse man has been sentenced to 3 – 5 years in state prison for growing marijuana.

In addition to prison time, Packer was sentenced to a total of 1 year probation to run consecutive with his prison sentence.

  1. What are you thinking growing marihuana in Potter County? You should have raped someone and got a lighter sentence. While other states are legalizing cannabis the good old boys in PoCo still think its evil.

    1. She didn’t get away free she has to deal with this for the rest of her life even though she didn’t get charged. I know her personally and she may have made some wrong choices she has been clean ever since this happened and taking care of her and Adams kids and doing a dam good job at it. No one is perfect but you live and learn and have to move on and do better.
