Stolen NY Truck found in Genesee

GENESEE – State Police say they have recovered a pickup truck, which was stolen earlier this month from Whitesville, NY.

On Wednesday police responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle near the baseball field in Genesee.

Upon inspection, they determined the vehicle, a grey 1998 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck, had been tampered with and was possibly stolen.

A subsequent interview with the owner, Mark Copp, of Whitesville, NY, confirmed that the truck had been stolen.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the matter to contact them by calling 814-274-8690.
