.LOW PRESSURE OVER SOUTHERN MICHIGAN WILL STRENGTHEN AS IT LIFTS NORTHEAST ACROSS THE LOWER LAKES AND SAINT LAWRENCE VALLEY LATER TODAY AND TONIGHT. STRONG SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL BUFFET THE RIDGE TOPS OF THE LAUREL HIGHLANDS BEGINNING THIS AFTERNOON. A SHARP COLD FRONT TRAILING SOUTH FROM THE LOW WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE REGION THIS EVENING…FOLLOWED BY A PERIOD OF STRONG GUSTY WINDS THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.

* WINDS…WEST AT SUSTAINED SPEEDS OF 20 TO 25 MPH…WITH OCCASIONAL GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.

* IMPACTS…SCATTERED TREE AND POWER LINE DAMAGE CAN BE EXPECTED. SOME MINOR PROPERTY DAMAGE IS POSSIBLE IN THE HIGHEST GUSTS. TRAVEL WILL BE DIFFICULT FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.
