WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 5 PM EST FRIDAY.

* LOCATION…NORTHERN PENNSYLVANIA FROM POTTER TO SCHUYLKILL COUNTIES.

* PRECIPITATION TYPE…SNOW. * ACCUMULATIONS…2 TO 4 INCHES.

* TIMING…TONIGHT THROUGH MID AFTERNOON FRIDAY.

* WINDS… SOUTHEAST SHIFTING TO SOUTHWEST AT 5 TO 15 MPH.

* IMPACTS…LIGHT TO MODERATE ACCUMULATIONS ON ROADWAYS.

* TEMPERATURES (OPTIONAL)…20S.

* VISIBILITIES (OPTIONAL)…MOSTLY 1 TO 3 MILES… OCCASIONALLY DOWN TO HALF A MILE. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. SNOW WILL AFFECT CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA TONIGHT AND FRIDAY… LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE ACROSS THE MID-ATLANTIC REGION TONIGHT THEN STRENGTHEN OFF THE EAST COAST ON FRIDAY. LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA TONIGHT AND CONTINUE ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA INTO FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

ACCCUMULATIONS ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA WILL RANGE FROM 2 TO 4 INCHES.
