..SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 4 INCHES BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON…

LOW PRESSURE AT THE SURFACE OVER WESTERN LAKE ERIE LATE THIS MORNING WILL MOVE TO THE SOUTHEAST AND TEAM UP WITH A POTENT UPPER AIR DISTURBANCE TO BRING SNOW OF VARYING INTENSITY THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON. THE SNOW WILL BECOME LIGHTER AND MORE INTERMITTENT BEFORE DUSK.

* LOCATION…THE NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS OF PENNSYLVANIA.

INCLUDING POTTER, MCKEAN, CAMERON, WARREN, ELK, CLINTON AND TIOGA COUNTIES.

* PRECIPITATION TYPE…SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS…3 TO 4 INCHES.

* TIMING…LATE THIS MORNING THROUGH 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON.

* WINDS…SOUTH TO SOUTHEAST 5 TO 10 MPH.

* IMPACTS…UNTREATED ROADS WILL BE SNOW COVERED AND SLICK.

* TEMPERATURES…SLOWLY RISING TO THE MID 20S FOR AFTERNOON HIGHS.

* VISIBILITIES…AROUND 1 MILE…OCCASIONALLY DROPPING TO BETWEEN ONE QUARTER…AND ONE HALF OF A MILE IN HEAVIER SNOW.
